Pneumatic three-way American standard flange ball valve
Pneumatic American standard three-way ball valve is an industrial valve designed in accordance with American standards (ANSI/ASME), specifically developed to meet the multi-directional fluid control requirements under high temperature, high pressure, and complex medium conditions. Its structure follows American standard specifications and is suitable for pipeline systems in the fields of petroleum, chemical, and power. It has high reliability and compatibility in scenarios such as diversion, merging, and flow switching. The valve body adopts precision casting technology, and the pressure temperature rating is set according to the ANSIB16.34 standard. The flange end face meets the ANSIB16.5 specification and supports RF (protruding face) or RTJ (ring connection) sealing forms to ensure seamless connection with American standard pipelines. The three-way flow channel design includes a T-shaped (three-way diversion) or L-shaped (right angle reversal) structure, where the ball core is driven to rotate 90 ° or 180 ° by a pneumatic actuator to achieve precise distribution or mixing of the medium. The pneumatic device complies with NEMA 4/7 explosion-proof and protection standards, is compatible with single/double acting cylinders, and can integrate limit switches or positioners to meet automation control requirements.
Material and process characteristics
The material of the valve body and key components strictly follows ASTM standards, such as carbon steel (A216 WCB), stainless steel (A351 CF8M) or duplex steel (A995 4A/5A), with a pressure rating covering Class 150-2500 and a suitable temperature range of -196 ℃ to 550 ℃. The sealing pair adopts metal hard seal (Stellite alloy welding) or soft seal (PTFE/reinforced graphite), and reduces the opening and closing torque through eccentric structure design, while meeting the API598 sealing leakage rate standard. The inner channel is polished with a mirror finish or treated with EP, with a roughness of ≤ 0.8 μ m, effectively reducing the risk of medium residue and corrosion.
Functional and performance advantages
- 多向控制灵活By adjusting the angle of the ball core, it supports one in two out, two in one out, or medium mixing modes to meet complex process requirements.
- 抗工况波动The American standard pressure design enhances the stability of valves under high pressure differentials and high-frequency operations, with a fatigue life of over 100000 cycles.
- 低维护成本The modular structure supports online maintenance, and the valve seat spring pre tightening technology can automatically compensate for wear and extend the sealing cycle.
Typical application areas
Suitable for scenarios such as reactor feed switching in refineries, multi pipeline proportioning in natural gas liquefaction stations, and acid-base medium distribution in chemical plants. Its American standard compatibility enables seamless integration into ASMEB31.3 process pipeline systems, particularly in projects such as LNG and shale gas extraction. In addition, the food grade version uses FDA certified materials, which can meet the hygiene level process control requirements of the dairy and biopharmaceutical industries.
Selection and installation points
Users need to choose the valve body material and sealing form based on the corrosiveness of the medium, working pressure, and temperature. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the flange bolt pre tightening force complies with ASME PCC-1 specifications to avoid uneven stress on the sealing surface. It is recommended to equip the air source with three components (filter, pressure reducing valve, oil mist device) to improve the response accuracy of the actuator. Regularly testing the sealing performance of the valve stem packing and the smoothness of the gas path can significantly extend the service life of the equipment.
This valve combines American standard standardized design with intelligent control, providing a reliable solution for efficient regulation of industrial processes while ensuring the safe operation of fluid systems.
