The movement forms of valve stem include lifting rod type and rotating rod type, which can be used to control the flow media of various fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal, and radioactivity. Therefore, this type of cut-off valve is very suitable for cut-off or regulating and throttling. Due to the short opening and closing stroke of the valve stem and its highly reliable shut-off function, as well as the fact that the variation of the valve seat is proportional to the stroke of the valve disc, this type of valve is very suitable for flow regulation.
